Magnolia Seedpod - Print

Immerse yourself in the captivating allure of the Magnolia or specifically the Magnolia grandiflora, a majestic tree that gifts us with its scented blossoms in the waning days of summer. Yet, it is not just the delicate petals that capture our attention. It is the intriguing transformation that follows—the emergence of a highly structured seedpod, a captivating subject that compelled me to render its beauty.
Nestled along the streets of our neighbourhood, these magnificent trees beckoned me to pick up my pencils and translate their hidden wonders onto paper. The allure of these seedpods was irresistible, calling upon me to explore their intricacies. As I embarked on this artistic endeavor, I chose to magnify their seedpod, drawing it at four times the usual size, only to discover the surprising and intricate "hairy" details they possess.
