The Banksia integrifolia, also known as the Coastal Banksia, is a true joy that graced my sketchbook. As my pencil traced its unique contours, I discovered an artist's delight in replicating the diverse textures that adorned its seedpod and galls.
I captured the essence of the Coastal Banksia, in this artwork, by unraveling its intricate beauty through the medium of graphite pencil. Stroke by stroke, I sought to recreate the seedpod, revealing the textures that unfolded before me. The galls added a real touch of mystery and fascination to the composition.
This contemporary print captures the essence of my original graphite drawing. Using 200gsm acid free paper and the meticulous techniques of fine art Giclee printing, this matte finish print brings my beautifully detailed art to your home.
